WebmasterNow.com's Webmaster Forum Search is a collection of the BEST WEBMASTER FORUMS.

How can this benefit me?

Webmaster forums, a.k.a. web design groups, message boards, and bulletin boards, are communities of web designers and marketers helping each other, networking, and getting noticed in the process. You can ask and read questions about everything related to web design, hosting, internet marketing, ecommerce, business, and more.

Three primary functions of the forums are learning, educating, and marketing. Any master online marketer will tell you THE BIG DEALS HAPPEN HERE. being active in the major marketing forums is a great way to get known. It's also free advertising!

Everyone's got something to sell, be it their own product, or someone else's. Most forums will not tolerate unsolicited commercial messages, better known as spam. Study each forum, and get to know their guidelines before you post. As a general rule, do not just make pitches, unless that's what the forum is about. Most forum posts need to have substance. Answer someone's question. Be helpful, and generous with your time. Let your sig file do your promoting for you in the forums.

The web design, marketing, and hosting forums listed below, are in no particular order. They were chosen based on popularity or ranking. Some forums of large portals, such as CNET Message Boards, or Google Groups will link to all categories, or a root catagory of "computers" or "internet".
The idea here was to make general computer or other internet help groups available as well. Web design is usually only a click ot two away from these general help areas.

Now on to the forums...

CNET Message Boards Major powerhouse. For those who don't know, CNET owns news.com, download.com, computers.com, search.com, and many others. They are a high tech company geared toward everything computer and internet related. CNET Message Boards could be considered a virtual encyclopedia for computer users. They cover a wide variety of topics, from general computer help, to web design, and much more. To get the most of your searches in CNET, first select the Message Board you feel is most appropriate for what you're looking for, then use the search box from that page. Very Important: You MUST select that forum again in the pull down menu under the search box, otherwise you'll be searching all of the forums.
